Cover-up / Re-work / Blast-over

A cover-up is designed to fully conceal an old piece through careful planning and contrast. A rework focuses on improving what’s already there by refining lines, structure, or detail. A blast-over places a bold new design directly over an existing tattoo, allowing parts of the original to remain visible as part of the final look. These projects require extra planning and consultation to choose the right approach.
